The course features a flat and fast figure eight loop minus the cross over. It has been designed with speed in mind\, eliminating the sharp turns that you may experience in a normal 5k. The final straightaway is asking for a fast finish from our select racers. \nDue to COVID restrictions\, the WR Elite 5k will be run in waves of 20 runners at a time once an hour. COVID-19 Precautions will be made and outlined to the athletes as the race approaches.  \nAwards will be determined by the people and closer to race day as we are trying to keep this event bare bones and cheap. Event support tab can be found above if you know someone that loves racing and supporting athletes from all over the Midwest.
