DESCRIPTION:View Results in Full Screen Mode\n    \nThe WR Elite 5k is an opportunity for some fast times to be thrown down right here in Des Moines. The course features a flat and fast figure eight loop minus the cross over. It has been designed with speed in mind\, eliminating the sharp turns that you may experience in a normal 5k. The final straightaway is asking for a fast finish from our select racers. \nDue to COVID restrictions\, the WR Elite 5k will be run in waves of 20 runners at a time once an hour. COVID-19 Precautions will be made and outlined to the athletes as the race approaches.  \nAwards will be determined by the people and closer to race day as we are trying to keep this event bare bones and cheap.
