DESCRIPTION:View Results in Full Screen Mode\n  \nThe “Ottumwa Habitat for Humanity Levee Run” is a family friendly 5k walk/run and 15k run on the Ottumwa levee trail system. The race will start and finish on the Market Street Bridge in downtown Ottumwa. There will be a 500ft race for children on the bridge once the main race event has ended. This mostly flat course will have three turnaround areas\, aid stations\, and plenty of cheering and support along the way. The event will include entertainment\, music\, and food for purchase. All race proceeds will go to the Habitat for Humanity of Ottumwa.

Now\, in addition to running with everyone at your local event you will be able to come together with runners from around the country in the World’s Largest Thanksgiving running festival: \nConnect with 60\,000 runners from around the country:\n-National leader board\, see results tab\n-$5000 team competition\, see team competition tab\n-Live national broadcast\, coming soon \nThis event helps raise money for DMARC.  DMARC manages a Food Pantry Network consisting of 11 separate partnering food pantry sites\, a centralized food warehouse\, and numerous community supporters. The DMARC Food Pantry Network is health-based and is the largest food pantry network in Iowa. Food pantry sites are located in Des Moines\, Ankeny\, Johnston\, Urbandale and West Des Moines.  Working together to meet basic human needs for the greater Des Moines community.
