DESCRIPTION:View Results in Full Screen Mode\n  \nPump\, Run or Walk to Back the Blue. 5K Pump and Run a participant’s score will be based on a combination of how many times he/she can bench press a % of their weight (see weight charts posted on the Facebook page for this event) & 5K race time. Pump and Run athletes can weigh in and lift between 7:30am and 8:00am on race day.  \nTo calculate the score\, an athlete will reduce their 5K run time by 30 seconds for each successful lift (maximum 30 reps for a maximum of 15-minute reduction. Participants may also just run or walk in the 5k portion of the event. The top male and female participants in each age category will receive a medal. There will be a traveling trophy for top Law Enforcement Official.

Run/walk participants will receive shirts\, free food and prizes\, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer. \nThe funds raised from 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Des Moines are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments\, free prostate cancer testing\, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. No other prostate cancer charity spends more per dollar on programs – more than 85 cents. ZERO puts every donation to good use.
