SUMMARY:Lungevity Breathe Deep 5K 2015
DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Breathe Deep Des Moines event was started by Hannah and Brad Pleima in honor of Hannah’s sister\, Heidi Everley. Heidi had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in January 2010 at the age of 35. She became passionate about the LUNGevity organization\, creating a team and raising money for another LUNGevity event. After she passed away in November 2011\, Hannah and Brad were looking for a way to become more involved in the organization and realized that there were not yet any LUNGevity events in Iowa. With this grassroots event they hope to honor Heidi’s memory\, increase awareness\, and raise money to fund critical lung cancer research. \nView Results in Full Screen Mode\n \nView Results in Full Screen Mode
